Fancy a Quickie is Wendy (celebrant) + Kyra (photographer), two good friends and long-time wedding professionals who turn up, get you legally hitched and document the whole beautiful thing.

Think all the romance and significance of getting married, minus the 12-month spreadsheet, seating chart and $30k+ price tag.

You bring your person. We bring the legal bits, the photos and the warm & fuzzies.

Oh yes. We might make a lot of jokes about quickies, but the marriage itself is VERY legit.

Wendy is an authorised marriage celebrant and takes care of the official marriage business, including a short and sweet registry-style ceremony.

You can also exchange rings and personal vows if you fancy.

We’ve always loved the idea of being a little mobile wedding team: we turn up somewhere meaningful/cute/weird/wonderful, get you hitched and make it look magic.

The beauty of keeping things small is that suddenly SO many places become possible.

Of course! We are happy to guide you and always encourage you to think outside the traditional wedding box.

Think about places you already love: your local bar, favourite café, a beautiful park, your backyard, a hotel rooftop, a rented studio or somewhere significant to your relationship.

We've seen quickies happen in all sorts of places and we love helping couples dream up something that feels like them!

We LOVE tiny weddings. The smaller the guest list, the fewer logistics there are and the more freedom you have to do something completely your own way.

You do need two legal witnesses.

Depending on your plans, these might be friends or family members you invite along. If you’re dreaming of something super-secret and don’t want to bring anyone, have a chat with us about your options.

There are legal requirements involved in getting married in Australia, so this isn't quite an “DM us at breakfast, married by lunch” situation — despite how much we would enjoy that.

Anything beyond that is completely up to you.
