Tom and Tay booked the beautiful Smith Street Studios in Collingwood for their Melbourne elopement, and honestly, it was the perfect spot for a classy quickie. Aesthetics was a priority for them, and this space delivered in every way: gorgeous light, modern style, and the intimacy they wanted for their celebration.

Their elopement was simple, relaxed, and meaningful. With just two dear friends as witnesses, and us—Wendy (celebrant) and Kyra (photographer)—the atmosphere felt warm, joyful, and entirely focused on the couple. We all remembered to breathe, be present, and appreciate how special it feels to be part of such an intimate and special celebration. They exchanged personal vows that had everyone laughing, crying, and feeling all the goosebumps before popping a bottle to celebrate as the paperwork was signed.

Afterwards, the newlyweds strolled through the streets of Collingwood, with Kyra capturing candid wedding photos along the way. A quick stop for gelato at Messina (because how could you not?) and then it was off for afternoon drinks with their closest friends/witnesses. Later that weekend, they hosted a casual party at home to share the news “We got married!” with their wider circle.
